Neuroinclusive Venue Accreditation

Gold Standard Neuroinclusive Venue
Raise the standard. Set the example. Welcome everyone.
Many venues are designed with physical accessibility in mind, but fewer consider cognitive and sensory accessibility — yet around 20% of the population is neurodivergent, and many more have sensory preferences that shape how they experience events. When these needs are overlooked, attendees may feel overwhelmed, excluded, or unable to fully participate.
The result is clear: events that don’t feel accessible are less likely to be attended, rebooked, or recommended. Event organisers are now actively seeking venues that can demonstrate confident, practical neuroinclusive practice — not just statements of intent.
That’s why we created Neuroinclusive Venue Accreditation.
A clear, practical framework that helps venues put neuroinclusion into practice through thoughtful design, accessible communication, and confident staff support.
This is not about major refurbishments or large-scale rebuilds.
It’s about meaningful, achievable adjustments that improve comfort, clarity, and choice — benefiting every attendee, not just neurodivergent ones.
By becoming a Neuroinclusive Venue, you signal to organisers, clients, and the wider sector that your space is ready for everyone — today and into the future.
Why Neuroinclusive Venue Accreditation?
Around 20% of the population is neurodivergent, and many more have sensory preferences that shape how they experience event environments. This means neuroinclusion is now a mainstream expectation — and venues that don’t adapt risk being overlooked. Research shows that 85% of neurodivergent people avoid events they believe may not accommodate their needs. For venues, this directly affects attendance, satisfaction, and rebooking.
At the same time, more organisers are designing events using the Welcome Brain Neurodiversity in Events Checklist.
Our Neuroinclusive Venue Accreditation is designed to plug directly into that process — ensuring your venue already has the spaces, communication, and staff readiness needed to support these events smoothly and confidently.
Accredited venues are recognised at three levels — Silver, Gold, and Platinum — reflecting increasing depth of sensory, cognitive, and practical support. Accreditation is valid for three years and includes a public directory listing, so organisers can easily find and select venues that meet neuroinclusive standards.
By becoming a Neuroinclusive Venue, you signal to event organisers that your space is not only welcoming — it is competitive, future-ready, and prepared for the audiences of today and the workforce of tomorrow.
